What a fabulous concert and a wonderful night. Meeting up with you all again was a real boost.
There was really a lot of magic and a lot of love around that night and it was something that I think all human beings should feel at least once in their lives.
Thanks again John-Ji for reminding us all of the high water mark you continually set in everything you do.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to John and everybody for being seemingly always on tour. It’s so important because Johns music is something that has to be experienced live, adding a whole new dimension beyond my descriptive ability!
Is there any chance that a live dvd could be made? We just dont get any tv coverage here in the uk for this kind of music. I missed the 5 peace band gig and the thought of seeing Chick and John is/was a dream come true. Yours hopefully,
Martin
I saw Mr Mclaughlin twice in Israel
Once with the Mahavishnu orcestra
and once with Paco De Lucia
But tomorrow I will see him once again in Los Angeles.Great great guitar player!!!
The Five Peace Band show in Denver, CO was the most satisfying concert experience in my life (so far). John Mclaughlin has been my favorite musician for more than 30 years – he’s so much more than just a guitarist. Please get a DVD out of this tour soon!!
John and Chick and the rest of the 5 Peace Band. I saw the concert in Berkeley, California and it was one of the best if not thee best concert I’ve ever seen and heard. I was also wondering if there is a DVD from this tour available. The musicianship from everyone was amazing. I really enjoyed Kenny Garret and Christian McBride. Brilliant.
Can’t wait to see Mr. Mclaughlin in Boston in April!! It has been a life dream for me.
Jeff Beck looks unpolitely young.

Ji,
The day after the concert, I spent 1 hour on the phone with Sridhar, describing the magical evening that the Five Peace band made possible at the RFH.
Sridhar told me that he intended to come and see the band perform in Hong Kong next year.
And, just one week later, he was no more!
Raju and I will miss him terribly, as I’m sure all those who came into contact with him.
Regards,
DV

Goodness knows, you two are the living human repositors of a great music tradition. I have enjoyed your music for almost 40 years.
Bring your tour to Tucson, AZ. Your band will pack the house and blow the roof off the joint.
It would be good to see your most recent musical incarnation in this wonderful little city.
love and health to you both.
