John McLaughlin and the 4th Dimension & Jimmy Herring and The Invisible Whip will be taking their tour to the shores of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on December 1st, headlining Riviera Maya Jazz Festival. John will dedicate the concert to his departed friend Paco De Lucia who passed away at Playa Del Carmen on Feb 25, 2014.
"Since the death of my dearest friend and colleague on the beach at Playa Del Carmen, I have had the intention to visit there to make my homage at the very place where we lost him. I am delighted to return to the beautiful Playa Del Carmen and make my dedication to Paco with my upcoming concert”, says John.
