One can be pretty sure that the title of John McLaughlin’s new and transporting album is not some kind of town-crier imperative but a more pacific, Zen-like suggestion to consider the here-and-now.

Please John, listen to the tourcoing jazz festival clips on youtube and judge for yourself…You gotta use an amp on stage or use a power amp but DON’T go straight to the board with your guitar preamp, the tone is awful and it even hurts the ears of the audience…You’re one of my all time greatest influence and I’m not only talking about music here so please do something about this. I had the chance to be at the Marciac Jazz fest a couple of years ago and I had to leave because of the guitar tone, it hurt…How sad is that???
