The esteemed British jazz fusion guitarist and composer, John McLaughlin (www.johnmclaughlin.com), has recently donated a substantial cash prize to the local Palestinian association, Al Mada for Arts-Based Community Development. Blessings to you John.
And shut your eyes and soul to earthly claims.
Then, as you burn, whatever pain you feel,
Remember God will recompense your zeal;
When you perceive His hidden secrets, give
Your life to God’s affairs and truly live —
At last, made perfect in Reality,
You will be gone, and only God will be.

John is my hero. In life & in music. I’ve said this many times. Other artists must follow his footsteps. There is an ART in the word ART. If one wants to experience FLOW in life, one must only GIVE. That’s it. No other way around. May the Blessings Be John.
Hello John.
Any further developments with Al-mada. Their work seems so valuable, especially right now.
