  Interesting interview - tough to ask that which has not already been asked - I think at some point the tape recorder should be turned on and let John talk about what he views important and germane.

  This interview is interesting in a certain way: On one side the questions seemed to me quite inadequate - say like the typical questions you ´ve heard before. But the way McLaughlin answers them turns this interview into a short, intense lesson about some essential ideas in life and music.
