God bless

Happy birthday John!!!I saw you in Argentina at concert in 1979 with Tony Smith,Fernando Saunders,Alirio Lima,Louis Shankar and Stu Goldberg.Great concert!Hope some day you come to Argentina again!!
Happy Birthday, dear John…
Since 1974, I‘ve seen many of your concerts. Watching you performing, there is always a kind of spirituality shining through. Over the years, I’ve learnt a lot from you and I like to thank you for showing me the meaning of music.
For me, the expereience of your music at a life concert is real soulfood, especially in times of superficiality and emotional poverty.
So, I wish you a long, healthy life and furthermore brilliant creating in the consciousness of the one.
Bon anniversaire John ! souhaitons à chacun d’être aussi éveillé et créatif à travers les années.
pour ce qui te concerne je ne m’inquiète pas, surprends nous encore longtemps !
John,
I sincerely thank you for not only being an inspiration and guiding light to myself and other guitarists around the world, but for your tremendous discipline, in transcending the staid comfort; tearing away from the safety of past successes, and continually venturing into unknown artistic regions to reach great new aesthetic realms.
May you always enjoy abundant health. May true happiness flow from within, and may all of your future goals be realized.
Happy Birthday, John … and may you enjoy many more decades full of good health and prolific creativity which will inspire listeners and musicians all over the world. And very personal thanks to you, the truly fastest guitarist in the world, for sparking my interest for your marvellous music since the early seventies. I had the great honour to listen to you live on a Jazz Festival in the Munich Olympic Hall – an experience I will never forget. And one more thing – to me, the original Mahavishnu Orchestra was for sure the greatest band the world has ever seen!!
John, your music has inspired my own creativity over the years, and no doubt that of so many others. I am interested in the connection between music & literature. Perhaps it has always been the pursuit of what does not yet have form which inspires. And endures. The daring, and yet, the grace, of it all. What James Joyce did with a pen you have done with six strings. Many happy returns.
Bon anniversaire Johnny !!!
Je te souhaites encore 70 longues années aussi riches que celles passées et que tu continues a faire avancer la musique et la guitare, ce qui me fait avancer.
Happy belated 70 th John. From Miles to Mahavishnu, Shakti to the trio w Elvin Jones,
Heart of Things to today. Stay true to your
Muse. Reinvent. And as Trane said” keep polishing
the mirror. Best to you and your family.
