I must admit I am not fond of prizes, but nevertheless John deserve this and much more for being the one who has mastered music and guitar as never heard before, creating a new lenguaje of expression beyond our imaginations. He is really living shakti. It is possible to hear the AUM of nature in his perfomances. Thanks

It’s great to hear that the modern, popular jazz community is recognising the talent, brilliance and innovative genius that you have put into your work – as you have been doing for 40 years!
Well done, and I can’t wait for the next project!
And more published DVDs please! They are all great so far!
It would have been nice for John to get more recognition in the acceptance speeches…
