Wow, amazing pictures! What could be more fitting at a UN concert than Remember Shakti! Music truly unites us all!

According to available information the concert was “Tribute to Peacekeeping”, at UN Headquarters in New York – on 23 October, 2009.

Is there a chance that Shakti will play London again soon? It was so beautiful and i need friends who missed it last time to experience it too!

Shakti concerts are all tremendous, producing all of them on DVDs would be the greatest gift.

There is some video from the UN concert the first half is speeches the 2nd half is clips from the concert in HQ
Remember Shakti at 8:50 > 10:00 there is about 70 seconds and they all join in the final song “the Price of Silence”
Great stuff I really do hope they tour again the vocalist really adds something to their sound
John ……I suppose a double bill of Remember Shakti & The 4th Dimension …… would be to much to ask !!!
