This comment is addressed to Johannes M Steinbacher – I have been trying to track you down ever since you kindly sent me photos of the gig I did with the Manhattan Brothers and the Zawinul Syndicate in Vienna in .. Nov 1998. Whenever I have googled you the only place I find your name is here on the John McClaughlin site – apologies to John but I dont know how else to contact Johannes

For those who may not know…Jeff and John toured together in 1975 right after Jeff had come out with Blow by Blow. Jeff has also guested on one of John’s CDs. They have been friends forever; nothing new really :^)

Wow…I never knew this happened…Jeff has always been an admirer of John (Scatterbrain,..early worship)…but has his own voice….what an opportunity…I do hope this has been captured on audio / video…I would pay for it….
